So it’s a little past 5:30AM, and I just got home. The night before, I didn’t sleep at all. I was up all night talking to @oliviawhoelse about some pretty serious stuff. But I won’t get into that.
I then get a phone call at exactly 8:48AM from @i0kr1sol to make sure I woke up on time. But of course, I was awake, since I didn’t sleep and all. We agreed to meet up at the train station at 10AM to make it to the 11AM Black Swan showing in the city. I left my house around 9:40AM and headed towards the bus stop only to realize that my unlimited metrocard had expired two days ago. So I headed towards the 7 train so I could take it to Roosevelt, and meet him up from there. I rushed, partially because it was a little under 30° and I didn’t want to keep him waiting. But as usual, he was late. I arrived Roosevelt station at 10:03AM exactly. He didn’t get there until a half hour later. Of course I was irritated. But I didn’t want to tell him. Usually I wouldn’t be irritated, but the tardiness occurs so often, I kept asking myself my I even try to be on time anymore.
We got to the movie theater right on time. And we missed just enough previews to get our seats 5 minutes before the movie actually began. I’ll tell you right now, I was confused at first, but in the end, everything fell into place. The movie was so intense. A bit scary and creepy, but still beautiful. A great way to spend $13. Even though I didn’t pay for the tickets… Thanks, Kris. After the movie, we walked a few blocks to Spice Thai Restaurant. I just ate the appetizer from his meal since I was feeling fat. It consisted of four balls of shrimp & chicken fritters, accompanied by a deliciously sweet and perfectly spicy sauce. And Kris ate the entree. After lunch, we agreed it was much too cold to be roaming the frosty, grimy, streets of Manhattan. He was generous enough to let me wear his hoodie since the cold seemed to be impacting me much more than it did him. So we headed back to his place.
It was around 3PM that we got home, and we were both exhausted from little or no sleep, so we decided to take a nap. He had woken up by 5PM to run some errands, while I continued to sleep until 8:30PM. During my sleep, @ibejudie had called him, inviting him to go to a friend’s house for yet another night of Malaysian Blackjack. When she arrived to pick us up, we stopped by Kung Fu Tea for some boba, then headed to Tomo Japanese Cuisine to pick up some sushi to go. 3 Roll Combo for only $10? Why not?
When we arrived to our friend’s house around 9:30PM, we began to chow down on our dinner as we watched our other friends play. Today was the first time I actually decided to gamble. I’m usually just a spectator and often find myself helping Kris organize his money, but today, I wanted to play. It was fun. Lost a little, won a little. We didn’t leave her house until 4:30AM. Seven straight hours of Malaysian Blackjack with good company. Good stuff. Judy then dropped us of at his house, but when my sister texted me asking to bring home the good she had left at our friend’s house, Kris decided to drive me home.
And so here I am. At home. Watching Tom & Jerry with my dog. And my stupid UTI is back. And its also my time of month. Ugh, gay. Lol.
Well, I’m a bit sleepy, so that’s all for today’s 365. Will update again tonight! Or tomorrow morning. Depends how my day ends up going. Toodles!
